MY WORLD 360°

My World 360°

Since 2018, MY World 360˚ creators have been using immersive storytelling and design to shine a spotlight on the issues most relevant to them and their communities and to inspire action on the Sustainable Development Goals, a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

In MY World 360º, youth and emerging creators from around the world prototype and produce thought-provoking immersive projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible and open up dialogue between the public and policymakers locally and globally.

MY World 360º Media

From climate action reporting to stories of local innovation and resilience, MY World 360º has compiled over 100 immersive stories from creators around the world and screened the official selection as part of United Nations events and activations around the world. The 2020 MY World 360º selection will be screened September 22-24 during the UN General Assembly at the SDG Action Zone, a convening of leading thinkers, actors, creators, and activists working to accelerate action on the Goals.

Dive into the collection to explore important issues impacting youth and emerging creators from around the world.

“The reason why we made Cipó de Jabuti is to show this populated Amazon to the world. It’s a sustainable Amazon where people work together with the forest and develop solutions to keep living sustainably as they’ve always lived.”

Justus A. and Charles B., North Carolina, USA, creators of Around the Same Table

“With climate change on the brink, we need to really focus on sustainability – everyone from the farmer to the consumer, because for the farmer, it makes his life easier, and for the consumer because they know it’s coming from a well balanced farm.”

Guilherme Novak, São Paulo, Brazil, creator of Better World 2030

“Better World 2030 allows people to use Augmented Reality to share creative videos on social media and visualize the SDGs in their own environments. I strongly believe in the power of immersive media for promoting memorable experiences that people can learn with.”
